Scott Bryce, Jodi Stevens Set for Music Theatre of Connecticut's Love Letters

Scott Bryce and Jodi Stevens

Real-life couple Scott Bryce and Jodi Stevens will star in Music Theatre of Connecticut's production of A.R. Gurney's Love Letters, to be presented February 4-20. Kevin Connors will direct.

The play chronicles the 50-year love affair carried on primarily through letters. The production will feature sets and lighting by Scott Holdredge, with costumes by Diane Vanderkroef.

Bryce has received two Best Actor Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his role as Craig Montgomery on ABC's As the World Turns. He has appeared on Broadway in Caesar and Cleopatra and Off-Broadway in Sally's Gone She Left Her Name. Stevens recently completed the Off-Broadway run of Dietrich and Chevalier: The Musical, starring as film icon, Marlene Dietrich. Her Broadway credits include Urban Cowboy and Jekyll & Hyde.

Steamboat was one of four final nominations in the Best Comedy group, narrowed down from a field of 30!!! Awards for Audience Choice will be on January 20th. Daniel Cosgrove Joins STEAMBOAT
Digest has exclusively learned that Daniel Cosgrove (ex-Chris, ATWT) has been cast in the Web soap spoof STEAMBOAT. He is set to play Tabitha's (Beth Chamberlin; ex-Beth, GL) Fan Club President. Actress-singer Jodi Stevens-Bryce and her husband actor Scott Bryce shared a bench with their 3-year-old son, Jackson. Jodi will be singing in a new off-Broadway show, “Dietrich and Chavalier; A Musical Love Story” scheduled to open in June at the St. Luke’s Theatre on West 46th Street in Manhattan. We have added a few new areas on our Steamboat community today in order to ease the pain of the wait for episode 4.
